EUDAMED Registration

EUDAMED is an initiative of the European Commission, that aims to improve the quality, safety, and effectiveness of medical devices used across Europe. The aim of EUDAMED is to provide a single point of contact for actors involved in the development of medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

In order to achieve these goals, EUDAMED has developed a unique system for registering medical devices and pharmaceuticals, called the Single Registration Number (SRN). The SRN is a unique identifier assigned to each product registered under the EUDAMED scheme.
